Montenegrin flag over the fortress of Shkoder
1913
The Montenegrin flag flies over Rozafa after Shkoder surrendered in April 1913 at the end of a six-month siege. Great Power pressure forced Montenegro to hand the city to the new Albanian state weeks later.
