Avni Rustemi on trial in Paris

Avni Rustemi stands trial in Paris on 29 November 1920 for shooting Esad Pasha Toptani, whom Albanian nationalists accused of selling the country. He was acquitted and returned home a hero, only to be assassinated in 1924.
