With a new government elected and set to move into office in a couple of days, where have we - as Friends of Aldabra - been at? Our partner and founder of @seychellesatheart, Lucie Harter shares key aspects of the Friends of Aldabra mission: 🐢 Protecting nature is our motivation: Aldabra and Assomption are precious for Seychelles and the world. 🇸🇨+🌍 Local voices, global attention: our campaign is Seychellois-led but supported by an international team. ⚖️+🕵️ Non-partisan & evidence-based: we analyse all information carefully, since US has been elected we have been keeping track of his different statements on Assomption. 💡 Transparency & accountability: this work isn’t a political game for us and we aren’t backed by any political party.
