Sometimes, Nature speaks so loudly you can’t ignore her.

Sometimes, Nature speaks so loudly you can’t ignore her. 🌿✨ Experiencing a place as wild as Aldabra can’t leave you unmoved. It touches your soul. When you’ve experienced her magic, you can’t help but fight to protect her. Here, our campaign manager Vic Duthil — the original Seychellois whistleblower for this project — shares why she’s fighting to save Aldabra: “Aldabra is just the wildest place in the world. It is beautiful. It is full of birds. Seabirds everywhere. Tortoises roam free. We’ve got 400 endemic species that you find nowhere else on earth and those are only the described ones. It’s just insane. Humans feel tiny there. Humans feel insignificant. We’re just a small part of something so much bigger, and something that harbours life, wild life. I snorkeled on some of the most amazing reefs I’ve seen in my entire life. I’ve seen fish life like nowhere before. The corals. Healthy thriving coral reefs despite rising ocean temperatures. Losing Aldabra would be a disaster for everyone. For Seychellois people. But for humanity as a whole. We are running out of places that are wild and that humans haven’t ruined yet. And Aldabra is one of those last few places. Which is why we are going to do everything we can and everything we have to do to protect it.” Aldabra doesn’t have a voice — but we do. And we will use it. 🌍💚 #NatureMadeUsDoIt #ProtectAldabra #FriendsOfAldabra #Seychelles #MotherNature #Wild
