November is the month we celebrate and raise awareness for Alpha-1 antytripsin Deficiency. Very fortunate to have received a Proclamation from Angelo Santabarbara. Making a step forward and showing support to patients and their families. Joining forces with the capital region of New York Alpha-1 support group, to provide education, advocacy and insight to help improve the quality of life of Alpha-1 patients. Like any other Rare genetic diseases that affect the lives of People in the local community, across the country or around the world. It is essential we raise awareness for early testing and diagnosis.
