Once upon a time..... I decided to shape an "Alaia". The process of this school project felt like a dream, having to go back in time to understand the history and the different designs used to glide with no fins. Travelling through the USA, New Yersey, I had the opportunity to connect with a local and see some of the oldschool wooden boards that where used by lifeguards.
