Arran Strong
Arran Strong was a professional surfer from Ericeira — Spanish-born, British, taught to surf by his mother, diagnosed with Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency at three and open about it for the rest of his life. He surfed for Surfing England as a junior and Great Britain at the 2024 and 2025 ISA World Championships, coached, and made the Strong4Cast interview series. He was lost at sea off Portugal in August 2026. This is his own record of it: 967 Instagram posts from September 2013 to July 2026, his TikToks, and his own films — his words, in his order.
