Eugen Sandow - The Father of Bodybuilding

A biographical account of Sandow, who left Prussia in 1885, was reportedly avoiding conscription, and took his stage name from his mother's maiden name. His break came from defeating the billed strongmen Sampson and Cyclops in London in 1889, a promoted music hall challenge.
