Rich Piana

Piana died on 25 August 2017 aged 46 after a cardiac arrest earlier that month. The medical examiner's report was inconclusive and no definitive cause of death was established. The autopsy found heart and liver each roughly twice normal size for an adult male, and mild atherosclerotic disease; the hospital disposed of all toxicology specimens, preventing analysis that might have clarified matters.
