Learning to use the card catalog is a skill taught early in elementary school. Libraries were maintained in each of the 100 Minneapolis Public Schools. Photo is stamped February, 1964, but series appeared in the 1963 Annual Report. Portrait Modern photograph of the subject as it appears today.
