The Sensation Station, Burning Man, 1999

A variation on the use of ball-chain in tactile immersion environments was to use mylar curtains in The Sensation Station at Burning Man in 1999. Shortly after I posted this video in 2016, clustered mylar curtains were used to create a tactile immersion space by an outfit calling themselves Dream Machine, located in Brooklyn. That operation is now defunct with no forwarding address.
