Thebe Mogane's best-known record and one of kwaito's durable anthems, still played in clubs twenty years on. Kwaito is house slowed to roughly 110 BPM, and its makers said so themselves, M'du Masilela: "When house music got popular, people from the ghetto called it Kwaito."
