Tony Wilson's son looks back on FAC 51, the club Factory Records and New Order financed, which opened on 21 May 1982, launched its Hot acid house night in July 1988 and closed for good on 28 June 1997. Peter Hook's accounting is the punchline the family lived with: the club that defined a decade of British music lost up to eighteen million pounds and never made money.
