Arandora Star -- Ireland's Legacy

A documentary on the Arandora Star and its Irish legacy. The ship, carrying German, Austrian and Italian internees from Liverpool to Canada, was torpedoed by a German U-boat on 2 July 1940 about 100 miles northwest of Ireland; more than 800 died, around half or more of them Italian.
