Bunscoill Ghaelgagh at St John's opened in September 2001 and teaches all subjects through Manx, the only school in the world to do so. Ellan Vannin is the Manx name for the island, and the song of that name is treated as an unofficial anthem. The national anthem is Arrane Ashoonagh Vannin.
