Douglas - 'Stabit' on display near Loch Promenade
2003
'Stabit' on display near Loch Promenade, Douglas. The name comes from the island's motto, 'Quocunque Jeceris Stabit', whichever way you throw it it will stand, which is Latin and dates from the 17th century, later than the triskelion itself.
