Adults learning Manx at Scoill Souree, Culture Vannin's summer school, July 2026. The 2021 census recorded 2,223 people reporting conversational ability in Manx, up from 1,650 in 2011, and the government set a target of 5,000 speakers within a decade in a 2022 strategy.
