A French piece in which Cousteau's granddaughter speaks about the war years. French sources record that Dimitri Veliacheff, a decorated resistant and Cousteau's hierarchical superior in the 1941 intelligence operations, disputed his decorations and accused him of claiming paternity of the operations after the war.
