Kavinsky
Kavinsky — Vincent Belorgey, the blue-skinned, red-eyed zombie racer of French electro. The story goes that he crashed his Ferrari Testarossa in 1986 and came back in 2006 to make music, and from that Record Makers debut he built a whole neon world: "Testarossa Autodrive", the SebastiAn remixes of the Ed Banger years, and then "Nightcall" — sung by Lovefoxxx, co-produced with Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel, and dropped over the opening credits of Drive to become a synthwave landmark. The 2013 album OutRun, the long silence, the 2022 return with Reborn, and Nightcall reborn once more at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The songs, the videos, the live sets, the remixes and the persona.
A chronological documentary of 42 moments spanning 2006–2025 on Loreline.
