LARP
A single word, two worlds. "LARP" began as live-action role-play — grown adults in foam armour swinging boffer swords on a Saturday field, the wargaming and Dungeons-&-Dragons roots, Dagorhir and the SCA, Vampire: The Masquerade, Nordic larp and "bleed," the blockbuster destination larps. Then the internet took the word and flipped it: to "larp" is to pretend to be something you’re not — the fake operator, the crypto genius, the trad cosplayer. And in its final form, larping became the joke itself: a whole generation mocking flex, hustle, "old money" and sigma-grindset culture by overdoing it so hard the flex collapses into satire.
A chronological documentary of 309 moments spanning 1966–2026 on Loreline.

- Mocking the Flex by Overdoing It — The final form: the flex becomes the joke. Sigma/Patrick-Bateman edits, the 5am-grindset and alpha-podcast parodies, looksmaxxing/mewing satire, the AI-influencer slop everyone clowns — larping the hustle so hard it eats itself.
