Currently, the sailboat Fonn and its crew, as part of our @rydd_i_tide, @handelensmiljofond mission, are stationed on the picturesque island of Vega in Nordland, Norway. We are dedicated to clearing marine litter from the nearby island group „Muddvær.“ Throughout our mission, we have come across a significant amount of plastic debris, particularly concentrated in hotspots as depicted in the video. In the past five days alone, our collective efforts have led to the removal of nearly 3000 kilograms of waste, averaging around 200 kilograms per kilometer of coastline.
