POV: You just spent hours cleaning an island, feeling accomplished… and then, BAM, there it is. A massive fishing net. 🤦‍♀️ Like, cmon?! Can we catch a break? Apparently not, because 80% of the marine litter we find comes from the fishing industry. And these so-called „ghost nets“ don’t just sit there harmlessly, they keep fishing forever, trapping dolphins, seals, and seabirds in an endless cycle of destruction. 🦭💔 Once entangled, marine animals drown, starve, or suffer fatal injuries.
