These tiny fragments spread through water, sediment, and wildlife, eventually entering the food chain, including our own. The ultimate solution? Limit plastic production and push for strong policies. But until then, cleaning up what’s already polluting our environment is crucial. Every piece we remove before it breaks down helps protect ecosystems and wildlife.
