Large parts of Norway’s coastline lack waste management services for the local population. Our guest from @vanoord_official, @chrissykeegs74, joined us and made a commendable effort to help compensate for this! One of the biggest local, land-based sources of marine litter is the lack of waste management services. People living without road connections are left to fend for themselves, and in many places waste ends up being burned on the shoreline, buried, or dumped at sea, simply because delivering it legally is too difficult and expensive.
