YES! We reached our goal of 50 ton’s!! The Ocean health expedition started in Stavanger 14th of April. After sailing 2239 nautical miles we are back where we started! The two main scopes of the mission has been to 1) remove as much plastic as possible from the Norwegian coastline and 2) create awareness and spread knowledge about the Marin litter problem on our way. How did it go? We managed to clean 744km of coastline and a grand total of 50 110kg of marin litter. This thanks to 920 volunteer working days.
