As a surfer-summer-sunshine typa girl, there are only very few things I dislike as much as being cold and clammy. And Arctic Norway is (unsurprisingly) all about freezing winds, soaked clothes, wet feet, hands so numb they can barely move - and I hateeeee* it so much!! … but I do love the ocean more. And that’s why I keep coming back to this little beachcleaning crew in the Arctic, that actually cleans 10% of the world’s coastline!! It’s my 6th year with them now. Because I see the tangled nets we’re pulling from the shore and the crazy amounts of plastic pollution, the team pushing through the exhaustion because we know this matter
