As someone who has been involved with beachcleaning and the fight against marine litter (which is ofc just a symptom of ALL the environmental and humanitarian crises we are facing) for years now, it can sometimes feel extremely overwhelming. Seeing another animal trapped in a net, hearing plastic crunch beneath your feet where there should be nothing but grass and wildflowers.
