When I first came to Norway, I had this image of a picture-perfect postcard country in mind. Crystal-clear fjords, towering mountains, wildflowers. And the nature is stunning - but there’s also this other side of Norway, one that exists behind the country’s carefully curated green façade. There, tons and tons and tons of plastic pollution are suffocating beaches and wild life. Over the past six years that I have been helping to remove plastic litter of Norway’s coastline, I have seen countless animals dying. Sometimes we are there in time to cut them free.
