I think this is something I’ve learned over the past six years of cleaning beaches in the Arctic and documentary filmmaking: The power of joy, while trying to create change, is SOOOO underestimated!! When the problems we are facing feel too enormous, it is very easy to feel powerless and to switch off completely. But recognising everything that is effed up with the world and loving it hard enough to keep fighting for it anyway… that! I feel so grateful to be surrounded by volunteers from all over the world, who are giving their entire hearts to keep Norway’s (crazily) polluted coastline clean and fight for a healthy ocean -with a sm
