Joshua's Lights run a liquid light show behind a band

Stock footage of the projection troupe at work at the Fillmore East, held by the Historic Films archive. Liquid light shows pumped coloured oils and dyes between glass plates in front of a lamp, an effect pioneered around the San Francisco ballrooms and carried east with the Fillmore name.
