Genthe's transparency of Chinatown on the day of the quake

A colour transparency from Arnold Genthe's record of April 18, 1906, filed among his images of the earthquake in Chinatown. Genthe had photographed the quarter since 1896 and lost his own studio in the fire that followed. The Library of Congress holds the plate in its Genthe Collection.
