Ghostnet 2023: Italy's Punta Manara

ENABLE CLOSED CAPTIONS FOR ENGLISH SUBTITLES As part of Sea Shepherd Italy's Ghostnet Project, our volunteers on the Conrad work alongside REEF ALERT Network (RAN) to remove lost fishing gear (aka ghostnets), from Punta Manara, a richly biodiverse marine area on the Italian Riviera. Using 3D modelling and photogrammetry techniques to assess the impact of lost nets, the project ensures that these nets can be safely removed without further damaging the marine life.
