Del, Cathy and I went to Savo Island in Central Province, Solomon Islands. The trip began with a 30-minute taxi to the West of Honiara, from where a "banana boat" (fibreglass speedboat) crossed the Iron Bottom Sound for another 30-45 minutes to the island.
