Participants in pink wigs and feather costumes among the crowd on the quay. 2005 was the year the official drinks partners were first allowed to sell beer along the route, a change many observers blamed for a rougher mood than usual. Radio Street Parade, which had run into financial trouble, was rescued that year by Energy Zurich and the free paper 20 Minuten.
