Scientology Speedrun
In 2024 the internet turned the Church of Scientology into a video game. The "Scientology speedrun": run through the front doors of an org and get as deep inside as you can — past the front desk, down the corridor, toward the auditing rooms — before staff stop you, then post the clip timed like a speedrun. It bred world-record "deepest runs," a meme economy of compilations, a wave of news warnings, commentary from every big reaction channel, and a real backlash when the "raids" turned reckless and teens got arrested.
