- - Yes lookin back I am defo cringing a tad at our wacky selves that…. 🫶 Disclaimer: Obviously we were in Morocco only for a super short amount of time and barely scratched the surface of its culture and life, so its easy to fall into romanticising it, but of course I am not intending at all to speak for anyone but myself or to diminish any of the hardships people living there might be encountering. - - Our boats Bris and Live set sail for the final trip of the season,…. 🌊 With side winds carrying us smoothly and a sky that treated us to stunning autumn light, it was a perfect last journey. - - Our latest mission was rescuing four fishfarm rings, that had been…. 20 years. These fishfarms are filled with styrofoam, to make them float as good as possible. That means we removed over 5 tons of plastic and styrofoam from the ocean. Some of the creatures that had made them their home also got to go back home to the ocean. - - Back in cold Portuguese waters and back in my 5/4 wetsuit 🥶 After…. ! No more bikinis, just the thick neoprene struggle and a brain freeze with every duck dive. And getting into that thing feels like a full workout in itself, even when it’s dry, let alone cold and wet haha. I am ofc super stoked to be surfing the home spots again, but I do feel like I lose a good amount of my paddle power in a wetsuit. - - A message in a bottle from a 12-year-old.. 31 years later on a beach cleanup mission While cleaning a remote, trash-covered island near Vega, one of our volunteers made an unexpected discovery: a message in a bottle. “I never would have expected the whole thing to be that huge.
