1. 2007 - Bourdain photographed at a book signing, November 2007. Taken at a book signing on 18 November 2007, the year after The Nasty Bits appeared from Bloomsbury. The photographer shot around ninety frames that evening, which is why a single occasion accounts for a large share of all the freely licensed pictures of him.

4. 2016 - Igor Gracie teaching Bourdain jiu-jitsu. He took up Brazilian jiu-jitsu in his fifties, was awarded his blue belt in August 2015, and in 2016 won gold in the Middleweight Master 5 division at the IBJJF New York Spring International Open. He was 59.
5. 2020-12-20 - IBJJF Masters Worlds Highlights Masters 4 Blue Ultra and Open. The sport as practised rather than performed. Kells Jiu Jitsu published it in 2020.
