The extractive built environment. Alluvial diggings and dry-blowers at Coolgardie, poppet heads on the Golden Mile, the Super Pit, Mount Whaleback and Tom Price, Wittenoom Gorge and its blue tailings, the Argyle diamond mine, and the Juukan Gorge blast site. Aboriginal presence here is largely reported rather than authored: land councils do not publish mine footage and mining companies do, and that asymmetry is part of what this facet shows.
