During his deposition, Gregory Burke (@seygreg) of @sey_islandconservationsociety explains that there is a need to assess the damage that has occured on Assomption Island before decisions are made about next steps. Assomption Island is not a wasteland, but a valuable environment. Only after we understand the current state of the island can any future vision be discussed - and it should be one that respects the island’s ecology, not overwhelms it.
