While Qatari-funded @rosewoodhotels and their PR team (@thepcagency) describe the luxury development being built on Assomption as “sustainable” and with a "mission is to protect and restore this precious environment for future generations", the truth is very different: 🌴 Fragile ecosystems are being destroyed 🐢 Wildlife is being harmed ⚖️ Seychellois law has been ignored - construction continues despite a stop notice 🚫 No environmental oversight 🔒No transparency The Seychellois government has approved this project and are not taking the steps to ensure our islands and its laws are protected. We demand justice for Assomption, for Aldabra and for Seychelles. Construction must stop now.
