🛑 "Aldabra is not a destination, it's a sanctuary and it's been that way forever." Vic Duthil, campaign manager at Friends Aldabra, asks fellow Seychellois to join her in speaking out against a luxury resort development threatening one of the world's last pristine ecosystems. Just 16 miles (27 kilometers) from Assomption island, this project would have devastating consequences for Aldabra Atoll (a UNESCO World Heritage site), which is home to giant tortoises, nesting sea turtles, and countless other species. ⚠️ This isn't just about conservation—it's about whether public opinion matters, whether World Heritage status has meaning, and what kind of planet we leave for future generations. 🔗 Join the movement at Friendsofaldabra.org (link in bio) and download the Chilli app to TAKE DIRECT ACTION!
