We’re standing against the proposed hotel development on Police Bay, Mahé. (6/6)

We’re standing against the proposed hotel development on Police Bay, Mahé. ❌ Will you join us?! Grand Police is one of the last wild, untouched beaches on Mahé. It’s one of the only places left that Seychellois can go to experience the true untamed, natural beauty of our islands. And it’s being taken from us. If we lose Police Bay, our future generations will never know what it meant to be able to enjoy our wild, untamed nature. What it felt like to go to Police Bay on a Sunday afternoon. Yesterday we stood outside Takamaka Community Centre while the Seychelles government (through versions agencies) and the hotel developers entered for a private meeting marking the start of the environmental impact assessment process. In August 2026 (exact time TBC) there will be a public meeting. We will be there. Please join us. It’s time for all to get together and take a stand. 🔈 Email the Ministry of Environment, ask for accountability and tell them what you think about this development. You deserve to be involved in the decisions that shape your islands: mm.jeremie@gov.sc #ProtectSeychelles #ProtectPoliceBay #ProtectAldabra #ProtectAssomption
