Never been prouder to be Albanian The energy tonight was incredible, to feel so many people come together peacefully and yet assertively is the experience of a lifetime. Change is happening my friends 💚 How this started: A local protest against the fencing of a public beach and natural reserve sold to billionaires so they can build a private luxury playground How it became an international movement: The protest quickly became national and united people across political colours. The selling and destruction of our environmental treasures was the straw that broke the camels back 35 years of corruption and poverty has pushed many to their limits and many others to leave seeking a better life: Introducing the Diaspora.
