From the strength of its people to the fragility of its landscapes, Albania showed us both its hopes and its battles. Last week, alongside 6 MEPs and the @europeangreens, we stood with those fighting to protect Vjosa-Narta, a sanctuary for wildlife and a symbol of resistance. The protests, going on for 38 days straight now, are clear: Albania is not for sale. Nature is not for sale. Democracy is not for sale. People are standing up against oligarchs, corruption, and even Trump’s friends. Thank you to everyone who shared their stories, their courage, and their determination.
