The Prime Minister of Albania - one of the poorest and most corruption-affected countries in Europe - has publicly confirmed that the state stepped in with €4 million of taxpayers’ money to prevent the cancellation of a private Kanye West @ye concert. This is not fake news. These are his own words. In any normal democracy, this would raise one simple question: What would happen in your country if your Prime Minister used public money to rescue a private concert? And then attacked and insulted the citizens who criticized it? Please share this and ask people outside Albania. I really want to know how this would be seen in other European democracies.
