🦩🇦🇱 For over 30 days, mass protests have swept through Albania. What started as a local movement to protect a flamingo sanctuary has exploded into a national uprising against corruption, land-grabbing, and the selling off of Albania’s last wild coastlines to foreign billionaires. 
„Environmentalism without class struggle is just gardening.“ 

The words of Chico Mendes (Brazilian unionist & environmentalist) have never felt more relevant. This isn’t just about protecting wildlife; it’s about a class struggle. Locals are being forced off their own land so that the ultra-rich can profit. 
So the people shout on the streets: „Albania is not for sale“
 The people are demanding a future that prioritizes the needs of the majority over the profit-interests of the few.
