An Hermès 'Clarté' wristwatch of about 1935 in silver on a calfskin strap, from the Patrimoine Hermès collection, shown at a Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie exhibition in the Kremlin in 2011. Hermès sold watches for decades before it made them, founding La Montre Hermès in Biel in 1978. The subject dates from 1935; this photograph was taken in 2011.
