Archive audio of Ned Maddrell speaking Manx Gaelic. Maddrell, a fisherman from Cregneash (Creneash), was the last native speaker from a Manx-speaking community and died on 27 December 1974. He learned Gaelg from his great-aunt Margaret Taubman, who had no English.
