🌊The OneOcean Week 🌊 From April 13th to 19th, 2024, Bergen was meant to be the place for debate and exchange of experiences related to the sustainable use of the sea. Many scientists at the OneOcean Week shared a wealth of knowledge, warning us of the dire consequences of our current course. If we continue on this path, there may not even be a conference to convene in 30 years! Politicians and various players from the industries were meant to “shine a light on creating the sea we need for the future we want.” (words from OneOcean website) It’s both baffling and concerning to witness the disparity between rhetoric and action. While i
