Panoramic portrait of an Army motor repair corps at the Presidio
1921
A wide panoramic camera captures the Inspection Motor Repair Corps assembled with its vehicles at the Presidio of San Francisco. The post kept its own motor pool and repair units as the Army shifted from horses to trucks and cars after the First World War. The negative comes from the National Park Service's NPGallery collection of Presidio panoramas.
